Clement Ayuen is an acupuncture physician specializing in pain management, weight management and chemotherapy-induced nerve damage. He helps promote balance and restore and maintain health by using Oriental medicine theories to diagnose and treat symptoms. “Many seniors don’t know about acupuncture and how it can help treat their medical issues,” said Dr. Ayuen. “They are usually the ones who need and can benefit from acupuncture the most.”

Dr. Susan Crowe is a Family Medicine Board Certified physician. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Illinois, and followed with her M.D. at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, attending on a full academic scholarship. “Patients are taught accountability for their own contributions to health outcomes. Together we have a partnership that is key to primary disease prevention, as well as maximizing chronic illness management.”

Dr. Jayasree Tatagari is board certified in family medicine. She earned her medical degree from Kurnool Medical college and completed her residency at Hennepin County Medical Center. She began her career working in upstate New York at a multi-specialty group providing a full spectrum of family medicine including chronic disease management and preventative medicine. “I enjoy the special bonds I form with my patients,” says Dr. Tatagari. “My goal is to provide qual-ity care for the geriatric population while helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.” Dr. Tatagari speaks fluent English, Hindi and Telugu. She enjoys traveling, especially to India to visit her family.

Passionate about science and making a difference, Dr. Melanie LetoBarone considers it a privilege to care for others. While she’s board-certified in internal medicine and pediatrics, Dr. LetoBarone feels her calling is to serve seniors. “Seniors are the heart of society,” she says. “They’ve given so much and deserve the best in return.” Part of that means providing the kind of care that she’d want her family to have. “What I love most is making connections with patients and helping improve their quality of life.” In her downtime, Dr. LetoBarone likes to keep up with medical advances, read, research her genealogy, cook, and spend quality time with family. Together, they love to explore the outdoors, go to theme parks, and travel.

Growing up in a community of limited resources inspired Dr. Christopher D. Berrezueta Reinoso to become a physician for those in need. Knowing how vulnerable seniors are, he’s dedicated to giving them the attention they deserve. “I really enjoy talking with them and helping them understand what causes their issues, how to improve them, and how to prevent others,” Dr. Berrezueta Reinoso says. “There’s nothing more rewarding than using my knowledge and kindness to change patients’ lives.” When he’s not with patients or keeping up with medical research, Dr. Berrezueta Reinoso likes to spend time with loved ones, walking, singing, and playing guitar. He also loves to experience other cultures and hopes to visit many other countries someday.

Ever since childhood, Dr. Alexis Rodriguez has been passionate about the medical field; and it led him to become a board-certified internal medicine physician. “I truly love having the opportunity to make a difference for others,” Dr. Rodriguez says. As he meets with patients, Dr. Rodriguez takes time to understand them, treat them with compassion, and emphasize preventive care. “The most satisfying part is helping seniors overcome challenges and improve their quality of life,” he adds. When not caring for patients, Dr. Rodriguez likes to keep up with medical research, spend time with his wife and kids, run, play basketball, listen to music, and go to the beach. One day, he hopes to visit Spain and Argentina as well.

Since Dr. Eduardo Ramirez started his medical career in Puerto Rico, he has loved making a difference for patients of all ages and backgrounds. Having worked in busy emergency rooms and urology practices, Dr. Ramirez enjoys providing focused care to seniors now. “Seniors paved the way for us, and this is my opportunity to thank them,” he says. “From listening to my patients’ concerns and preferences, I design individual treatment plans to help them achieve better health.” When he’s not seeing patients or expanding his medical knowledge, Dr. Ramirez likes to spend time with his wife and children. Some of his favorite activities include cooking, camping, running, reading, fishing, scuba diving, and wakeboarding.

With a love for science and people, Dr. Jennifer Oberhart started her career as a CNA in a nursing home. Dr. Oberhart’s passion for learning medicine comprehensively not only led her to become a physician, but also receive recognition during residency and an opportunity to be a teaching hospitalist before joining Dedicated. “I listen to my patients’ concerns and strive to discover the root of the problem to determine the best treatment,” she says. “I also like to educate patients about their medical conditions, management, and prevention so they can optimize their quality of life.” Outside of work, Dr. Oberhart spends time with her loved ones and friends. She especially enjoys going to the beach, camping, playing sports, and traveling.

For as long as she can remember, Dr. Veronika Tynes has been driven to help people and reduce their suffering. That compassion led her to become an acupuncture physician, contributing to the more complete care and healing of patients. “I am grateful and honored to provide safe, effective treatment for our senior community,” Dr. Tynes says. “They respond quite well to acupuncture. They’re finding relief—many for the first time—which is resulting in a more positive outlook on life along with a feeling of hope and wellness.” When she’s not caring for patients or soaking up more knowledge on integrative medicine, Dr. Tynes enjoys time with her family. Dr. Sarina Khanal takes pride in serving her patients by being the strongest advocate for them. Her favorite part of her profession is “solving issues from the grassroots level.” She actively listens to patients and considers their point of view. Dr. Khanal strives to “communicate with the patients and their families to help them understand the most difficult complex issues.” Caring for elders is an important value in her family, so she is grateful to serve the senior population. Growing up being a diplomat’s daughter and having lived in various countries have come to appreciate patients from different backgrounds. “I miss my parents and grandparents who live in Nepal and wanted to engage my care to the most vulnerable population,” she explains. In her free time, Dr. Khanal enjoys reading, painting, and hiking. She also likes collecting stamps, coins, and seashells.

Dr. Pitamber Persaud chose to pursue a career in healthcare because he “wanted to help people in need.” He always listens to patients and strives to “address their problems as much as possible.” He explains, “I am here for them and to make a difference in their lives.” He especially likes caring for the senior population and always treats patients how he would want family to be treated. If he could change anything about healthcare today, he would increase accessibility and affordability. He finds it important to engage in lifelong learning. “Get updated knowledge wherever you can—it’s everywhere!” he says. Dr. Persaud enjoys watching movies in his down time. He also likes collecting currency notes from different countries.

Dr. Ramon Gutierrez is passionate about preventative medicine and promoting a healthy lifestyle. His favorite part of his profession is “educating patients and helping them understand that health is not just the absence of disease but maintaining harmony and balance of mind, body, and spirit.” He strives to empower his patients and wants them to know that he will be there with them every step of the way. “I will take this journey with my patients,” he says. He loved caring for his grandmother and explains that her passing motivated him “to continue helping seniors.” In his free time, Dr. Gutierrez loves spending time with family, engaging with the church, and traveling. He also enjoys cooking Filipino breakfasts.

As a physician, Dr. Manasi Sule aims to empower patients and help them achieve “a better quality of life.” She explains, “I want patients to know that I will be their best advocate when it comes to their health and try my best to serve them in the best way possible.” She especially enjoys caring for the elderly and providing them with autonomy and “the respect they deserve.” She adds, “I think of caring for them as caring for my own grandparents.” To keep up with the latest medical advancements, she often conducts research and reads medical journals. In her down time, Dr. Sule enjoys playing with her dog and spending time with family. She is also an amateur photographer and loves taking nature photos.

Dr. Atza Acosta Feliciano is board certified in family medicine. She knew at a young age that she wanted to help people achieve better health. Her passions are helping others, having a positive impact in their lives and promoting social justice. “Seniors are the most caring, nicest people,” says Dr. Feliciano. “I can make a diff erence in their lives by caring about them, being there for them and listening to them. I’m open to their feedback because I always want to improve.” Dr. Feliciano likes to travel, learn about other cultures and spend time with her sisters, nieces and nephews. She is a huge fan of karaoke, food and art. She has a love for the outdoors and talking to others about God’s many blessings.

Dr. Jennifer M. So cares deeply about family and her local community. “I pursued my path as a podiatrist to serve the community. I wanted to work closely with the elderly, so they can get back on their feet and spend time with their families,” she explains. Prevention and education are key parts of her practice. “Small actions have big consequences,” she says. She adds that she is “happy to be a part of an interdisciplinary team” with other physicians. She enjoys forming genuine connections with patients and often bonds with them over sports. In her free time, Dr. So loves practicing yoga, explaining that it helps exercise both the body and mind. She also shares that she is proud to be a first-generation American.
