Description
Dr. Alex Mierke is fellowship-trained in orthopedic spine care, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of neck and back pain. He treats spine conditions using nonsurgical and minimally invasive approaches. Dr. Mierke earned his medical degree from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and completed his residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center, followed by a fellowship at Florida Orthopaedic Institute. His articles have been featured in Spineline, a peer-reviewed spine publication. Dr. Mierke is part of FOI's Spine & Pain program at North Tampa and sees patients in Lakeland. Dr. Mierke is currently a physician at Florida Orthopaedic Institute.
